Domagoj Stupić is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, within the Department of Viticulture and Enology. He works at the Experimental Station Jazbina and has been affiliated with the Faculty since 2010.
His research focuses on Ampelography, Grapevine Genetic Resources, and Clonal Selection. He specializes in grapevine physiology, plant material production, and sustainable development of grape varieties. His projects often involve molecular markers, metabolomics, and high-throughput phenotyping for disease resistance and quality improvement in viticulture.
- Projects: Coordinated multiple grants including Application of metabolomics and molecular markers in grapevine disease resistance selection (Croatian Science Foundation, 2023-2027) and New perspectives for Croatian grapevine varieties (EU programs, 2019-2022).
