Dirk D’Ase

Dirk D’Ase is a Professor at the Faculty of Music of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He studied composition under renowned composers Luciano Berio, Friedrich Cerha, and Krzysztof Penderecki.

D’Ase’s research and compositional work is deeply influenced by his extensive travels and research into traditional Southeast African music.
