Dirk Ahlers is a Senior Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) within the Department of Architecture and Planning under the Faculty of Architecture and Design. His work focuses on Smart Cities, Climate Neutral Urban Development, and Urban Digitalization, with significant roles as project coordinator for ClimaGen and project manager for NEB-STAR and Re-Value. He contributes to EU initiatives including the Smart City Marketplace and New European Bauhaus transformations.
With a PhD in Computer Science and Geospatial Analysis, he applies computational methods to urban climate action through:
