Dipika Nadkarni is a Lecturer and Conservator at the University of Münster's Institute for Classical and Christian Archaeology, overseeing conservation efforts for the Archaeological Museum and Bible Museum. She holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Goethe University Frankfurt (2025) and a Master's in Conservation and Restoration of Archaeological Objects from Durham University (2018). Her research focuses on archaeological conservation, book and paper restoration, and preventive conservation strategies. Nadkarni has extensive experience in museum roles, including stints at Lübeck Museums and the Durham University Museums. Her publications critically examine colonial artifacts, Mesopotamian art, and conservation methodologies.
