Dr. Dionysios Pelekis serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe (RENFORCE) within the Department of International and European Law at Utrecht University School of Law. His academic profile spans state aid law, competition law, and tax law with interdisciplinary applications in regulatory frameworks.
His doctoral research at the University of Edinburgh examined the evolution of fiscal aid concepts and intersections between tax policy and state aid regulation. Methodologically, he employs qualitative, normative-conceptual legal research and interdisciplinary approaches to analyze complex regulatory environments.
