Dina M. Copelman is a Professor at George Mason University, affiliated with the Cultural Studies and Women's Studies programs. She holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University (1985) and studied at the University of Warwick, England. Her research focuses on modern British and European women's history, social history, and gender studies. She has received grants from the American Council of Learned Societies and the Spencer Foundation.

Her work examines themes such as Victorian women's labor, family dynamics, and the intersection of gender and social structures.
