Dina Abdel Fattah

Dina Abdel Fattah is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Mohamed Shafik Gabr Department of Economics at the Onsi Sawiris School of Business, The American University in Cairo (AUC). Her academic expertise spans economics, gender studies, migration, and labor market dynamics in Egypt.

• Education: MSc (2009) and PhD (2017) in Economics from the University of Sussex, UK.

Her research focuses on the economics of young women, return migration, entrepreneurship, and gender-labor market intersections. She has collaborated with local and international institutions as an independent expert in migration and gender studies.
