Dimitris Apostolopoulos is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago, specializing in post-Kantian European philosophy with a focus on phenomenology. He holds a PhD from the University of Notre Dame and previously taught at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. His research explores intersections between phenomenology and German Idealism, philosophy of language, aesthetics, and the philosophy of history.

His publications span journals such as Journal of the History of Philosophy and European Journal of Philosophy, with a book Merleau-Ponty’s Phenomenology of Language (Rowman & Littlefield, 2019). He is involved in research groups like the History of Philosophy Roundtable (HOPR) and the Phenomenology Research Group (PRG) at Loyola.
