Dr. Dimitrios Kollias is an Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence at Queen Mary University of London's School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a PhD from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His expertise spans multimodal AI, machine learning, computer vision, and affective computing. He leads the ABAW and MIA-COV19D workshops and chairs key AI conferences. His research focuses on trustworthy AI, medical imaging, and human-computer interaction. He has over 60 publications in top-tier journals/conferences like CVPR, ICCV, and AAAI, with an h-index of 36. Awards include the Sullivan Thesis Prize (2023) and being ranked in the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2023).
