Miss Dikshyanta Rana is a Researcher in the Department of Health Economics & Health Technology Assessment at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HEHTA) team since 2018. She holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York (2018) and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Christ University, India (2016). Her research focuses on mixed-methods approaches in economic evaluations, HTA methodologies, and health data analysis across cardiovascular diseases, oncology, mental health, and women’s health. She currently leads the INCISE project exploring precision medicine and translational health economics.
Teaching roles include co-leading the Health Economics for HTA module in the MSc HTA program, lecturing in MSc Precision Medicine, and supervising students in MSc HTA, MPH, and MSc Population Health Sciences. She also develops CPD courses and contributed to the Better Health Programme (BHP) in the Philippines.
Her research network engagement includes representing early-career researchers in the Scottish Health Economics Early Career (SHEEC) network.
