Dijne Haaker

Dijne Haaker is a Researcher in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute. She is part of the 2024 cohort and holds Dutch nationality.

Her research focuses on migration policy frameworks and their societal impacts, with particular emphasis on how migrant selectivity mechanisms influence social outcomes. Her work bridges migration studies, welfare analysis, and inequality research.

Currently pursuing doctoral research titled "Migrant policy, migrant selectivity and its effects: an integrated framework" under Herman G. Van De Werfhorst with external supervision by Lucinda Platt, her work contributes to the CLIC research project examining inequality, welfare systems, and social justice dynamics.
