Dieter T. Roth is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theology at Boston College, affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on Synoptic Gospels, Parables, Marcion, and New Testament Textual Criticism. He holds degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill (B.A.), Reformed Theological Seminary (M.Div.), the University of Edinburgh (Ph.D.), and Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Habil. theol.). Recent publications include studies on Marcion’s Gospel in critical editions, Staurogram identification, and Patristic interpretations of parables. Office hours are Monday 2–4 p.m. and Wednesday 11 a.m.–12 p.m.
