Dieter Müller

Dieter Müller is a full-time Lecturer in Civil Engineering at the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture (HSLU T&A), specializing in hydraulics, flood protection, and hydropower. He holds a Dr. sc. techn. from ETH Zurich (1995) and a Dipl. Bauing. ETH (1984). His professional career includes leadership roles in hydropower engineering firms and over two decades of academic teaching at Swiss Fachhochschulen.

• 1979–1984: ETH Zurich, Diploma in Civil Engineering

Research Focus: Innovations in flood protection systems, hydropower infrastructure, and marine engineering solutions such as artificial coral reef foundations. Active in project leadership and educational development through certifications like the Hochschuldidaktik course (2019–2020).
