Diarmuid Costello is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Warwick, UK, and Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Philosophy, Literature and the Arts. He holds a Leverhulme Senior Research Fellowship (2023–25) and has held roles including Humboldt Experienced Researcher (2012–13) and Co-Director of the AHRC-funded 'Aesthetics after Photography' project (2007–11). His work bridges analytic and continental aesthetics, focusing on photography's philosophical dimensions, conceptual art, and Kantian aesthetics.
