Miguel Beistegui is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Warwick, UK. He holds a BA and MA from the Sorbonne (Paris), a PhD from Loyola University of Chicago, and conducted postdoctoral research at the Hegel-Archiv in Bochum, Germany. His research focuses on 20th-century German and French philosophy, particularly Heidegger, phenomenology, Deleuze, and Foucault. Beistegui advocates for philosophy’s interdisciplinary engagement with social and natural sciences to address contemporary challenges. He has led projects such as the Leverhulme-funded 'Issues in Bioethics and Biopolitics' and co-launched the 'Philosophy in a Time of Crisis' initiative exploring Europe’s margins and socio-economic marginalization.
