Diarmaid Harkin is Associate Professor of Criminology at Deakin University's School of Humanities and Social Sciences, specializing in cyber-security from social science perspectives. Research examines spyware markets, surveillance law impacts, technology-facilitated abuse, and cyber-policing challenges.
Current projects include studies on technology-facilitated abuse in Pacific nations, CCTV impacts on domestic violence survivors, and law enforcement responses to cybercrime.
