Diane Berthel

Diane Berthel is an Adjunct Professor at the Health Law Institute, Mitchell Hamline School of Law, specializing in healthcare governance and finance. Following a 35-year investment consulting career, she now focuses on supporting microfinance initiatives and human rights organizations in developing countries through advisory roles.

Education:

• BA in Political Science from University of Northern Iowa
• Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University
• Healthcare Executive Programs from Harvard Business School, Harvard Medical/Government Schools, and University of Wisconsin-Madison

Her expertise bridges legal policy, healthcare economics, and financial governance in global contexts. Through Mitchell Hamline's Health Law Institute, she contributes to practical education models addressing evolving healthcare challenges.
