Diana McNeill is Professor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine and serves as Associate Dean for Duke AHEAD (Academy of Health Professions Education and Academic Development). She previously directed the Duke Internal Medicine Residency program from 2001-2011 and founded Duke AHEAD in 2014 as its inaugural Director.
Her expertise centers on medical education innovation, health professions faculty development, and clinical teaching methodologies. She bridges internal medicine practice with educational leadership, particularly influencing endocrinology training through the Lindquist Professorship initiative.
