Dr. Diana Lopez Lugo is a Researcher affiliated with the School of Psychology at the University of Sheffield. She collaborates with Dr. Alicia Forsberg on a project exploring memory and meta-cognitive development in children and adolescents. Her work focuses on developmental psychology, particularly language acquisition and the cognitive mechanisms underlying syntactic processing in childhood.

Her research examines how recent language experience influences syntactic representations and ambiguity resolution through structural priming. She is part of the Cognitive and neural processes across the lifespan research group and the Interdisciplinary Centre of the Social Sciences (ICOSS).
