Diana Arcadipone is a Part-Time Lecturer at Northeastern University, specializing in Theatre and Music. With over 30 years of experience as a visual artist, educator, and arts administrator, she has held leadership roles including Dean of Students, Dean of Admissions, and Dean of Extended Programs at institutions such as The Art Institute of Boston and Lesley University College of Art and Design. She has driven significant enrollment growth and program development, including the Young Artist Residency Program, which received NEA funding.
- Education: M.F.A. in Painting and Printmaking from Ohio University; B.F.A. in Painting from Western Michigan University.
Her research focuses on artist career pathways, integrating traditional craft techniques with fine art, and environmental advocacy. She launched the Artist Resource Center to support artists' professional development and established the Folk Art Studio in Maine. Key awards include the President’s Impact Award and an NEA grant.
Her leadership included expanding course offerings at Lesley University and managing mergers between institutions. Grants and programs under her direction emphasized accessibility and sustainability in the arts.
