Diaa Abd El-Moneim

Diaa Abd El-Moneim is an Associate Professor of Molecular Genetics at the Faculty of Environmental and Agricultural Sciences, Arish University. His academic journey began with an MSc in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Suez Canal University, followed by a PhD at Complutense University of Madrid (Erasmus Mundus Scholarship). He later secured an AECID-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the National Center of Biotechnology (CNB) in Madrid.

Notable methodologies include GWAS, SSR/RAPD/SCoT marker development, and chloroplast genome characterization.
