Desmond Ayentimi

Desmond Ayentimi is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics, University of Tasmania, with a focus on Human Resource Management, International Business, and Economic Development Policy. Holding a PhD from Curtin University and an MBA from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he has over a decade of academic experience, including prior roles at Curtin University and Catholic University of Ghana.

Recent publications analyze gig work conditions, SME innovation performance, and HRM adaptation in digitized and developing contexts. Awards include the Higher Education Academy Fellowships. Desmond actively engages in conference roles, such as Session Chair at the British Academy of Management Conference (2024), and contributes to public discourse on gender equality in Ghana via media publications.
