Derek Vanderlinde

Derek Vanderlinde is a Visiting Assistant Professor at St. John Fisher University, where he has taught since 2012. He mentors MBA students in capstone projects, teaches executive leadership, and works with the NextGen Family Business Initiative. With firsthand experience as a family business owner, he specializes in succession planning and transition.

His research interests focus on business leadership and entrepreneurship. Vanderlinde has served on numerous nonprofit boards and provides consulting for nonprofit CEOs in Rochester.
