Vaughan Scott

Vaughan Scott is an academic professional affiliated with the College of Business, where he oversees the MBA Certificate in Family Business Management and Consulting. He developed and teaches FMBZ 650: Family Wealth Creation and Preservation, and managed the MS of Accounting Analytics capstone projects and ConsultMBA Program. From 2017 to 2022, he taught all MBA capstone courses.

• Education: MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management (European Cohort), Executive Certificate in International Economic Relations from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland, and BA in English from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.

His research and professional focus centers on family business dynamics, wealth preservation, strategic transitions, and succession planning. Since 1997, he has advised family enterprises and entrepreneurs on financial and strategic needs, emphasizing intergenerational value transmission.
