Denyse Gautrin

Denyse Gautrin is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Université de Montréal. She specializes in occupational pulmonary diseases, with a focus on asthma. Her research explores the natural history of occupational asthma in apprentices exposed to high- and low-molecular-weight agents, and bronchial irritation syndromes in workers at risk of chlorine exposure.

Research Interests: Her work spans epidemiology, pulmonology, and occupational health. Methodologies include epidemiological and statistical approaches, addressing allergies, asthma, and occupational diseases. She investigates genetic susceptibility to occupational asthma.

• GENETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY FOR OCCUPATIONAL ASTHMA (2013–2017), funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

Teaching & Supervision: Advised Mircea Claudiu Dragos for his Master's thesis on IgG and IgE specific to isocyanates in automotive apprentices at risk of occupational asthma.
