Dennis Kessler is the Edward J. and Agnes V. Ackley Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Simon Business School, University of Rochester. With over 30 years of experience in restaurant ownership, real estate development, and human resource management, he co-owns Kessler Restaurants LLC and specializes in commercial real estate and cell-tower development. He advises startups like WEX Energy and Meltek Energy, and serves on multiple boards including Excell Partners (venture capital), Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the New York State Insurance Fund Board of Commissioners.
Research & Teaching: Focuses on antitrust law in franchising and healthcare. Teaches entrepreneurship with an emphasis on law, franchising, and new business concepts. Advises students in developing business concepts and market strategies.
