Dennis Gaitsgory

Dennis Gaitsgory is a Professor at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany, since 2021. Previously, he held academic positions at Harvard University (2005–2021), the University of Chicago (as a professor), and was a Clay Research Fellow. His career spans 30 years of groundbreaking work on the geometric Langlands conjecture, a major area bridging mathematics and theoretical physics.
