Dennis Brown is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a faculty member at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He holds leadership roles including Director of the MGH Office for Research Career Development (ORCD), Director of the MGH Program in Membrane Biology, and Associate Director of the MGH Center for Systems Biology. His research focuses on renal physiology, vesicle trafficking, and epithelial cell biology.
Education: BSc (1st class honors) and PhD from the University of East Anglia (1972–1975). Professional roles include Editor-in-Chief of Physiological Reviews (2009–2017) and membership on NIH study sections. He has received over 112 invited lectures globally since 1984 and authored 380 publications.
