Dennis Adams

Dennis Adams is a Professor at The Cooper Union's School of Art whose work examines historical and sociopolitical themes in photography, cinema, public space, and architecture. With over fifty urban projects executed globally, his exhibitions have been featured at prestigious institutions including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), and Fotomuseum Winterthur (Zurich).

Research Focus
Adams' practice bridges critical theory and urban intervention, exploring how visual media interacts with public memory and spatial politics. His installations often engage with architectural contexts to challenge historical narratives.
