Deniz Demirhan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Meteorological Engineering, Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on atmospheric science, meteorology, climate modeling, glycomics, and machine learning applications. He has conducted studies on ozone variability, Brewer-Dobson circulation, and N-glycan analysis in medical contexts.
Research Interests include stratospheric ozone dynamics, climate modeling under different scenarios, and glycomic profiling using machine learning. Recent work integrates glycomics with gastric cancer prediction and advanced glycan analysis in food systems.
He leads projects on meteorological data analysis and climate scenario impacts, including the 'Meteorological Unit's Scientific Infrastructure Development' (2023-2024) and 'Investigation of Stationary Wave Changes in the Middle Atmosphere' (2018-2020).
