Denise Skiadopoulos

Denise Skiadopoulos is an Associate Professor of Optometry and Director of Contract Research at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). She is a full-time faculty member, providing clinical supervision for third and fourth-year students and teaching pediatric optometry. Her roles emphasize both clinical education and research leadership.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from ICO

Research Interests: Dr. Skiadopoulos focuses on pediatric optometry, binocular vision disorders, infant vision development, care for children with special needs, and myopia control strategies. Her work integrates clinical practice with research, addressing complex cases requiring multidisciplinary approaches.
