Denise Dresser is a Professor of Political Science at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where she has taught since 1991. She has held visiting positions at UC Berkeley, USC, Georgetown University, and UCLA, and has been a Senior Fellow and Visiting Fellow at multiple research institutions including the Inter-American Dialogue, the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies, and the Ditchley Foundation.
Her research focuses on Mexican democratization, political economy, corruption, citizenship, and U.S.-Mexico relations.
