معرفی
Delin Sun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine. His research focuses on neuropsychological and behavioral correlates of PTSD, adolescent trauma, and brain development using neuroimaging and machine learning techniques. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China.
Education:
- Ph.D., University of Science and Technology of China, 2008
Research Interests:
Dr. Sun investigates structural and functional brain changes in PTSD and trauma using advanced neuroimaging methods, including network-graph analysis and machine learning. His work explores the neural mechanisms underlying social cognition, addiction, and mental disorders such as Alzheimer’s and depression. He collaborates with the ENIGMA consortium on large-scale neuroimaging projects.
Grants:
- Structural and Functional Architecture of Cortico-Cerebellar Systems in PTSD (NIH, 2025–2029)
- Genomic Architecture of Functional Brain Networks in PTSD (NIMH, 2023–2026)
Professional Activities:
Recent presentations include talks at the Society of Biological Psychiatry meetings and the Anxiety & Depression Association of America conference. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, focusing on PTSD biomarkers, cortical networks, and neuroimaging methodologies.
