Del Roy Fletcher is a Professor of Labour Market Studies at the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research, Sheffield Hallam University. He holds a BSc (Hons) and MSoc Sc, with expertise in welfare reform, social policy, and offender employment interventions. His work focuses on labour market disadvantage, severe multiple disadvantage, and evaluations of social service programs like the West Yorkshire Finding Independence Project.

Recent projects include evaluating the Sheffield Occupational Health Advisory Service's Work and Health Scheme, which targets health-impaired workers in SMEs, and advising on peer mentoring in HMP Risley.
He has supervised three PhD students, including studies on carceral-assistential nets, survival sex work, and welfare-to-warfare transitions. His work emphasizes systemic inequities and the intersection of social policy with marginalized populations.
