Deepa Patil

Deepa Patil, MD, is a Professor in the Department of Pathology at the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. She serves as the Director of Gastrointestinal Pathology and holds an external appointment as Professor of Pathology at The Cleveland Clinic. Her research focuses on the histologic and molecular aspects of Barrett's esophagus and associated neoplasia, including genetic mechanisms, detection techniques, and biomarker discovery for predicting neoplastic progression. She is also a PRVB Core Co-Investigator in the BETRNet initiative.
