Dr Dee Fields is a part-time Research Associate in the Department of Education at the University of York, specializing in educational psychology, genomics in education, and inclusive practices with a strong focus on amplifying children's voices in research and policy.
Her educational qualifications include:
- BA (Hons) Educational Studies and Childhood Studies from the University of Hull
- Postgraduate Certificate Inclusive Education EM Direct QTS (Primary)
- National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) from Bath Spa University
- MSc Psychology in Education from the University of York

Her research explores the psychological impact of genetic labeling in education, children's perspectives on genomic screening, and inclusive methodologies for learning-disabled children.
