Deborah Mayer is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Notre Dame's College of Arts and Letters. An accomplished dramatic soprano, she specializes in Wagnerian and Verdi repertoire, with performances at the Metropolitan Opera, Théâtre du Châtelet, and Boston Symphony Orchestra.
She teaches classical and contemporary vocal techniques, integrating Somatic Voicework™ pedagogy. Mayer's students have appeared on Broadway tours (The Lion King) and television (The Tonight Show). She also serves as vocal director for theater productions, including Notre Dame's A Chorus Line and Sweeney Todd.
