Deborah Doroshow is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Adjunct Assistant Professor of the History of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. A dual-trained medical historian and clinician-scientist, she bridges historical analysis with clinical oncology practice.

- History of Medicine: Focus on 20th-century psychiatric practices, child welfare systems, and medical technology history.
- Clinical Oncology: Specializes in DNA damage response mechanisms in lung cancer and early-phase solid tumor trials, particularly in diverse urban populations.

- Published 2025 studies on patient retention strategies in clinical trials
- Lead investigator for 2025 neoadjuvant immunotherapy research
