Deborah Barnett is a faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley's School of Public Health, with a PhD in Developmental Biology (1995) from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her career spans research in gamete/embryo biology, prenatal programming of metabolic and reproductive disorders, and neuroendocrine regulation of fertility, alongside pioneering work in online STEM lab curriculum development and remote education for rural communities.
