Debbie Wyatt is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society at the University of Chester, specializing in Nursing and Healthcare Education. She serves as Faculty Credit Coordinator, focusing on flexible learning through credit transfer and accreditation of prior learning. Her expertise spans cancer care, applied sciences, and healthcare communication. She co-edited the book *Cancer and Cancer Care* and actively contributes to national initiatives like the ACCEnD program, which reforms cancer career pathways for nurses and allied health professionals across the UK.

Research Interests: Cancer education efficacy, cancer impact on daily life, and healthcare access for people with intellectual disabilities. Current work explores paid carers’ knowledge of cancer in disability contexts.
Teaching Roles: Leads the MSc Professional Studies and BSc Professional Practice programs. Taught across pre-registration, post-registration, and postgraduate nursing programs, emphasizing oncology and communication skills.

- Active member of the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS) Education Working Group.
- Contributor to the ACCEnD program’s Workstream 1.
- Participant in EONS conferences and workshops since 2019.
