Debbie Mackey is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee’s College of Business Administration. She serves as the faculty advisor for the UT student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which has been nationally recognized under her guidance. Mackey holds SHRM-SCP certification and expertise in compensation, professional development, workplace wellness, and training.
- Education: Ph.D. (1997), M.S. (1984), and B.S. (1978) from the University of Tennessee.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on human resource management, with an emphasis on compensation strategies, professional growth for students and professionals, and wellness initiatives in organizational settings. She has led the UT SHRM chapter to multiple national awards for professional development and community engagement.
