Deanna Hill

Deanna Hill is an Associate Clinical Professor and Program Director for the EdD in Educational Leadership and Management at Drexel University's School of Education. She holds a PhD in Administrative and Policy Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law, and a BA in Political Science with a Certificate in African Studies.

Her research examines community-based educational models, teacher workforce development, and policy implementation. Key interests include recruitment/retention of teachers of color, democratic education frameworks, and leadership development in decentralized schooling contexts. Her scholarship often bridges legal frameworks with educational policy analysis.
