Dean Aszkielowicz is a Senior Lecturer at Murdoch University's School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. His research examines historical and political dimensions of war crimes, international relations, and security, with a focus on post-WWII trials and Indo-Pacific defence diplomacy. He leads a project evaluating the efficacy of war crimes law from its origins to contemporary applications.
