Dawn Maelor is a Lecturer in Welsh Education at Bangor University's School of Education and Human Development since 1996. Previously served at Coleg Normal (1993–1996) and Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern as a secondary teacher. Holds a BA in Welsh and a Graduate Education Certificate from Bangor University.
Research Focus: Specializes in Welsh language development in teacher training, bilingualism, digital education competencies, and children's literature. Active in pandemic-related educational challenges and policy analysis, producing reports on online teaching adaptations and language access during crises.
