Dawn Dill serves as Head Swimming & Diving Coach and PERA Assistant Professor of the Practice at Wellesley College, appointed in June 2024 after returning from Harvard University where she guided the Crimson to an Ivy League Championship runner-up finish.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in physiological psychology from Smith College (1996)
- Master's degree in exercise and sports studies from Smith College (2001)
Professional expertise centers on Swimming and Diving Coaching, Athletic Training, Adaptive Aquatics, and Sports Science, demonstrated through designing aquatics schedules for diverse user groups and developing adaptive programs. Her coaching methodology emphasizes championship performance optimization and inclusive aquatic programming.
Key recognitions include:
- Three NEWMAC Swimming Coach of the Year awards (2006, 2009, 2010)
- Four-time Academic All-American distinction (1993-1995)
