Professor Davina Porock is a leading academic at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Edith Cowan University, where she holds a Vice Chancellor’s Professorial Research Fellowship. Her research program focuses on living and dying well in residential aged care, with specific emphasis on person-centred practice and recognition of dying. She has extensive teaching experience in end-of-life care, physiology of dying, and dementia care.

She has led large-scale projects analyzing emergency department transfers from aged care, palliative prognostic tools, and sleep patterns in residential facilities. Current research includes 3D-printed texture-modified foods and advance care planning in home care settings.
