David Wrenne serves as a Senior Lecturer in Graphic Communication at Cardiff School of Art & Design, Cardiff Metropolitan University. His academic and professional work bridges design theory and practical implementation within democratic contexts.
Wrenne's research interests focus on Graphic Communication, Communication Design, and Typography, with particular emphasis on how visual design interacts with democratic processes and information structures. His work examines the relationship between printed narrative and urban architecture through physical interaction with print media.
As a panel member of the International Society of Typographic Designers' Student Awards, Wrenne contributes to the recognition of emerging talent in typographic design. His professional practice includes collaborative publishing projects that explore the experiential aspects of print media.
