Maria N. Gerasimchuk-Djordjevic

Maria N. Gerasimchuk-Djordjevic is an Associate Professor in the Art and Design Department at Missouri State University. She holds an MFA in Visual Studies (2017) and a BFA in Design with dual emphasis in Illustration (2008), both from Missouri State University. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as DES 202 Graphic Design Systems, DES 210 Introduction to Computer Graphic Design, and typography-focused courses like DES 303 Basic Typography and DES 331 Advanced Typography.

Her research and professional interests focus on graphic design, children’s book illustration, and typography. Maria has exhibited work in venues like the Amplify and Multiply show (2017), the COW International Design Festival (2017), and Consumption at the University of Arkansas (2016).
