معرفی
David Svintradze is a Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and Chemistry at the Kennedy College of Sciences, University of Massachusetts Lowell. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics from Tbilisi State University (2006) and is recognized for his work in theoretical physics and differential geometry.
- Education: BS (2003), MS (2005), Ph.D. (2006) in Physics, Tbilisi State University.
His research focuses on Calculus for Moving Surfaces, Differential Geometry, and Pattern Formation, with significant contributions to biophysics. He has solved classical problems like Young-Laplace, Kelvin, and Gibbs-Thomson equations, advanced Navier-Stokes solutions, and enhanced General Relativity through moving surface calculus.
Recent publications highlight interdisciplinary applications of differential geometry to fluid dynamics, electromagnetic fields, and biological systems. His work bridges mathematical rigor with physical phenomena, particularly in surface dynamics and nonlinear systems.
Scientific Awards:
- Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) for 2024-2025
- Presidential Award for the Best Young Scientist in Georgia (2005)
- Simons Fellowship at Aspen Center for Theoretical Physics (2017)
- Co-chair, Membrane Dynamics Section at Biophysical Society Annual Meeting (2017)
He has secured grants from the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (2022-2024) and has been an invited speaker at institutions including the Niels Bohr Institute (2024) and University of Massachusetts Lowell (2022).
