David S. Yeager is the Raymond Dickson Centennial Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. He co-founded the Texas Behavioral Science and Policy Institute and is renowned for research on adolescent motivation and interventions. His work, conducted with prominent psychologists like Carol Dweck and Angela Duckworth, focuses on short interventions addressing behaviors such as bullying, mental health, and academic engagement. Recognized as one of the world’s top 0.1% influential psychologists, he previously taught middle school and coached basketball. Yeager holds a PhD from Stanford University and degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
